Wink Tennessee Walkers???

I just bought a Tennessee Walker. I've always been around rodeo type horses though like paints, quarters, and buckskins. I sold one of my quarters and got a walker. What is the best thing to show them in?? She has great confirmation and a nice trot which is the reason I got her. I want to be in lots of shows but don't know what to pick.

Does she trot or running walk?? If she's not gaited then you can show her however.

I've came across a few twh that strictly trotted. The people that own one mechanically made him gait. Which probably isn't healthy for the horse. However, I've seen TWHs that trot become very cute event horses or rodeo competition horses. (roping, barrel racing, poles, etc)

I think that TWH's are stellar endurance horses! I think that they are VERY under appriciated in that arena.... but besides that I've seen them do it all!

I think a lot will depend on how well he gaits. If it doesn't come naturally, and you aren't interested in showing him as a typical TWH.. the skies the limit!
